wpe27.jpg (11919 bytes)The Baronial Dining Room, with its grand fireplace, provides the perfect setting in which to enjoy a meal. We use all fresh produce, much of which is grown specifically for us in local small-holdings.
In sole charge of the kitchen, Gordon creates variations on classical French cooking with strong Scottish overtones.

Good food should always be complemented by good wine: We are very proud of our interesting, carefully chosen 100 bin wine list. Our well stocked bar includes over 50 single malt whiskies.

Our dining room is also ideal for special occasions and private dinner parties throughout the year. Birthday, Wedding, Conference, Family-get-together, or winter break?   The maximum number for functions is 35.

Gift vouchers for accommodation and/or dinners can be provided to any value

We are happy to reserve the entire hotel for your private party. Special rates are available when reserving all five bedrooms.

A gem of comfort and fine food, with an emphasis on freshly prepared local produce cooked in an interesting and innovative style. The high vaulted dining room, with its grand open fireplace, is the only restaurant with rooms in Scotland to be awarded two A.A. rosettes and a Michelin "Bib Gourmand". Also highly recommended in The Good Food Guide.
